I put in a service request for my dinning room chandelier the light started flickering and then stopped coming on. Upon putting in my service request the maintenance guy Julian came the same day. He was very knowledgeable and helpful he was able to determine that there was an internal issue. I told him I rarely used it so it wasn't the lights. I took the light he removed and put it in my lamp and it came on. He was able to diagnose the problem within a short time and repair it the same day. Julian is professional and he listens and knows what he is doing. Thank you Julian.

I love this community! I've been here for a year and have had no problems except some miscommunications with the office. However, they are very nice and professional. I had a recent mishap and D helped put my mind at ease. It really made a difference in my day. Mind you, I was waiting at the door bright and early in the morning before the office even opened and she assisted greatly with a positive attitude and built rapport with me. I plan on renewing my lease. Anything you see about bugs I believe it's due to neighbors or the floor.. I'm in the 3rd. They also have exterminators weekly available upon request.

A country gal came to the city and I am loving it here!! I have the perfect quiet community of residences! Close to everything. I don’t have to drive an hour to Target anymore 🥹🥹 THE LITTLE THINGS!! Unfortunately, as I read the reviews and some experiences that The community has had to deal with it is absolutely no representation of who she is and what she brings to the community, after doing done research and reaching outside of the property I found her and I have a whole new level of respect just from my interaction with her. She listens she cares and has a great concern for what’s going on in the community and an urgent need to make things right I was strongly suggest before having any unresolved issues or lingering complaints that could potentially leave a bad taste in your mouth. Please reach out to her and I’m sure One and two star reviews turn into five star reviews based upon her knowledge her care and understanding this is our home and she provides Exactly what the community needs to thrive Issues that we have with the pest. The complaints we have with the garbage and An overall care of the community how we feel we’ve been treated and just any unpleasant Situations that we might have faced, not only does she have the voice and the power to change it. My family and I have been here a few months now and really haven’t had much issues up until recently. The parking lot is always filled and those who don’t live here but are visiting don’t respect the fact that it’s residential parking priority. The gates never work when it does the cards don’t or code doesn’t so you’re left sitting outside until someone lets you in. They charge so many superfluous fees. I had one maintenance guy come out for a clogged toilet and when Julian Shaw came 3 literal days later he fixed it and found the problem. Go Julian. Otherwise the complex isn’t as bad as the reviews. Every place has its issues. Colton creek is just the first to address them when it’s brought up.

I can’t thank Breanna, Devyne, and the Property Manager enough for working so diligently with my mother and I during our moving process. I initially toured with Breanna late June then my family encountered a home invasion at a different apartment so we were speedy in our relocation. Breanna and Devyne were extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and compassionate. They do have other properties as well, after reading some reviews I would recommend looking at Eagles Brooke if you’re looking for somewhere more ducked off and quiet. It is a beautiful complex. My mother and sister reside there and absolutely love it. I am still new to Georgia but the grace and professionalism my family has experienced in this time with both of these properties is hard to run across here. They are very busy because they are handling hundreds of tenants however they show human decency and respect. They all turned a scary situation into a more positive memorable experience. My unit is very clean as well as the grounds here at Colton Creek, which is tricky to find in Atlanta.

I like my apartment it's nice and spacious and the neighborhood is quite for the most part. Ms Heather and Derrick have both been a big help with the parking situation. I now have a parking space that's reserved Colton Creek is making progress. Overall feeling positive about my experience. One day at a time is beneficial for me.

First things first the Devyne is one of the best leasing agents she provides excellent customer service and she listens. She went out of her way to try to ensure that everything was ready. But unfortunately there were a few hiccups. However, I am happy to say although it took a week or so Devyne made sure things were getting taken care of she also followed up with me. Jeff maintenance service guy did a great job taking care of the issues and repairs. His customer service is top notch he really cares and does his job in excellence. This makes all the difference and he’s very professional!! I love my apartment it’s beautiful and spacious and the issues have been taken care of for the most part. I have to pause for a moment and to talk about the parking I was told that I could reserve a parking space and that was the best thing to do, I was told to pick a spot and give the number so they could check it. However, once we went and picked a spot all that changed? I was told they are going to be auditing the parking lots for various reasons apparently some people weren’t paying, moved etc. I’m hoping this very important issue will be corrected and functional in the next few weeks it’s very important! I am disabled and I need to know I’ll have a parking space that is conducive to my physical condition. The majority of parking spaces have (Reserved) on them although the parking system appears to be broken at this time. And there’s only one handicap parking spot in front of my building. Overall I think that Colton Creek is a neighborhood the apartments are nice. My encounter with the property manager Ms. Heather was great excellent customer service. I think they are working hard to get things in order and I’m excited to be here. A special thanks to Devyne and Jeff for everything I appreciate you both very much.

I just moved here. My experience so far has been great Richard Lomax by far has the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE that I have experienced in a while. I don't know who reviews these comments I hope HR because he needs a Bonus. He handles everyone with respect and take his time explaining everything. I came in on a Saturday requesting and apartment. My husband had to go into the office on a Saturday and spoke with Breanna regarding a maintaince issue. She was working in the office by herself and as he sat waiting for her assistance, he noticed how professional and empathetic she was to the new and current residence. No matter how many people came through the door she stayed very professional and assisted everyone in a timely manner. Once it was his turn she continued to be professional and helped to resolved the issue. Couples days later maintenance man by the name of Joesph, came in to work on the issue which he completed in a timely manner. He was extremely nice, professional and respectful. For my husband to tell me about how professional and empathetic they were, I knew it had to impress him because he’s a war veteran and retired federal agent and he pays attention to people Also for the last couple of years he’s told me that business no longer care about their customers. But on this day Breanna and Joseph showed him different and I appreciated that.

I must truly say my son and I are very please with the decision we made to renew our lease for another 15 mths (going on 8 yrs.) I attached the pictures so you can see for yourselves. If you guys continue with your expedient response for our work orders, we would have no problem renewing our lease when it’s up, granted the rent is reasonable.

Today I came into Colton creek with it being my last resort to find a place to stay, previously before I’ve came into the office looking to rent an apartment, but had a horrible experience with office staff. I was not greeted at all by any team member nor did I feel welcomed. So today I have it another shot and I’m so thankful that I did! I was welcomed at the door with a warm bright beautiful smile from the property manager who had seemingly stopped what she was doing to greet and assist me. She was VERY patient and professional! I was shown two units by her agent and walked through the entire process and all of my questions were answered. Compared to my experience last year this place has had a complete turnaround, the grounds looked better , the staff was more friendly and efficient. Needless to say, keauna Hervey is greatly appreciated and I definitely leased a apartment today!! I’m looking forward to my stay at Colton creek.

My experience living here has been great. The management office has always been helpful to me when I’ve had an issue, and been quick to get it fixed. Very friendly and never had any problems with them.

Great place to live. I have been living here for close to 3 years. It is definitely a great place to live. I have not had any problems with, trash, noise, etc. the only problem I have noticed is the gate, and that is always the resident or a visitors fault. Also, I love how quickly the maintenance men will come and service whatever problem you are having.

I feel blessed to say I am entering into my Twelfth (12th) year of residency at COLTON CREEK APTS. aka TREES OF AVALON, aka MY HOME, which is located in this well kept community. Although the faces of Management, office staff, Maintenance personnel, etc. has changed since my move in, I am happy to share that although Nothing/No One are perfect, which allows for disagreements, I continue to be in receipt of appreciated prompt responsive services rendered by Management/office staff addressing various issues etc, and the Maintenance/Repair crew, aka my "GHOST BUSTERS", are #1... THE BEST!!

Definite 5 stars from me. Management at this place have been diligent and extremely hands on with everyone individually. Management sends out daily emails for big and small things to keep in touch with what’s going on within the community. They’ll throw breakfast and events for the residents every now and then which is sweet! I contacted Nahkia and Jeanna months before moving in, and remembered them when I was ready to move. Nahkia listened to my situation and me approved in half an hour and I moved in the same day after applying. This community has done nothing but help me and boost me as I continue with my life. Neighbors are all nice, apartments are pretty quiet and isolated, but more importantly I’m in a SAFE home. I haven’t had an opportunity to use the pool and gym but I’m sure they’re great. They aren’t the lowest price in town but they certainly are the best VALUE in town all the way down the charts. 10/10 would recommend spending the extra money to live here. The quality of living and the actual apartments are great!

I lived there for 3 years and loved it. Marshall Hood is exceptional; when I was hospitalized my lease was up, but was kind enough to extend it twice. I was to I’ll to move. He has always been prompt in all.matters with me. Jeanna; I have not know long, but she was very helpful in providing documents. I never had to wait more than 20 minutes for her to reply on email. Even after she was home she would reply. Nahkia was a charm at one point I was relocating to a ground floor apartment and she had me set in 3 days and very nice. Maintenance always come the same day without delays. Pest control weekly if you need it. In my 3 years I only saw 5 roaches. Convenient to everything. I will miss them all.

Some of these reviews seem like they are reviewing each other, not the neighborhood or the staff. I’ve been here for about 6 months and the staff is one of the best I’ve seen, the grounds are well kept and landscaped, gates have only been down for a day or 2 since I’ve been here... Readers beware, sounds like angry residents that didn’t get their way writing these reviews. Go and see for yourself, this is one of the nicest places in McDonough. If you want a manager that really cares, ask for Gina, she is one of a kind. I see what they are doing and appreciate it so much. Colton creek is a true gem!

I have enjoyed living here. I'm glad I chose a community that is safe and quiet. The leasing office personnel are always friendly and willing to help. The maintenance workers are responsive. I have not seen any bugs.....big plus. The only reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 is because the main entrance gate doesn't have the arm that comes down after each vehicle so the gate stays open longer and cars rush in. And the gym had trash on the floor a few times I've gone.

I absolutely love living at Colton Creek! Initially, I had my reservations. I was on the fence with location and then I thought it was one of those complexes where the pictures looked better than in person. I expressed all of those concerns with Taylor, one of the leasing agents, over the phone. She was so patient and pleasant, scheduled a tour and answered ALL of my questions. After my tour, I was sold! The amentieties and the quality of the complex is just amazing. The leasing office is open on Sundays, the gym is open 24 hours, the gates always work and the community stays clean. The entire staff is great, they have assisted me with everything I’ve needed since I’ve been living there and have patience that is unmatched. I love my actual apartment; I have enough space, the appliances are up to date, everything works perfectly and when it doesn’t, I file tickets and maintenance fix the problems. And lastly, the area is perfect, I feel safe, everything I need and do is literally within a 10-15 mile radius from the complex, I don’t have to get on the highway to do the things I need to do, I don’t have to deal with an excessive amount of traffic and gas is cheaper! I honestly have no complaints and have been in love since I moved!

Over all i love the community its a nice place to live. My main issues are the people that live here.. People throw trash on the ground right in front of our units and i don’t understand that! Folks need to take pride in where they live we have a huge dumpster so why be lazy and litter somewhere you lay your head! parking! If i get home after 6pm I’m lucky to park my car in front of my unit most nights people have to park along the curb and that causes issues! Last issue is our gate it stays broke and open allowing anyone to come in...

Townhomes are Secured with Police reside at TOA they have made there presence known. Excellent Peace Of Mind and Quiet. Office is very helpful and professional. 24/7 Emergency Maintenance respond promptly. Clean Well Maintained Upscale townhomes lots of square footage for your money. You get what you pay for $1,500 monthly. I have lived all over Georgia all my life TRUST ME WHEN I SAY NICE PLACE TO LIVE. Traffic is a little hassle but they are currently working on that back roads are a must! Oh yes I do not work for TOA etc. I have no idea what the other user who gave their opinions below in a negative rating are talking about check out for yourself. FACTS! This is a honest Tenant.
